Ethiopian Industrial Inputs Development Enterprise donated 4.2 million Birr sanitary
pads to Addis Ababa City Administration Bureau Of Women, Children and Social
Affair.
Mrs. Yeshimbet Negash, CEO of the EIIDE, who provided the support, said that 77,143 packs of sanitary pad which worth 4.2 million Birr distributed to the Office. She stated that the support has been given to the concerned body.
Ms. Yeshimebet pointed out that, the support will continue and in the past few years, the organization has provided support worth 19.6 million birr to fulfill its social obligations.
The head of Addis Ababa City Administration Bureau Of Women, Children and Social
Affair, Ms. Weynshet Zerihun, who received the support, pointed out that the sanitary pads donated by the EIIDE will greatly help women who are hindered from their education due to the lack sanitary pads.
Accordingly, the representatives of the institutions and associations receiving the support were present at the place and conducted the handover.
